What is TOPPAS Autobelay?

TOPPAS is a fully automatic and fully certified autobelay for professional climbing and belaying without a climbing partner. The system is equipped with a 20-meter high-tech steel cable and ensures a controlled descent at a constant speed.

Thanks to its robust construction, high durability, and redundant braking systems, TOPPAS meets the highest safety standards. The device has been in use for many years in numerous climbing gyms and high ropes courses.

TOPPAS was developed in 1996 by Willi Neuhaus and NTT Neuhaus Trans Tech GmbH and has since established itself as a staple in climbing sports. Some of the first devices from 1996 are still in use today and continue to meet current standards.
